Like I said it was a busy Easter Weekend with cake smashing!
It took Ava a little while to smile in her cake smash shoot, like most of us ladies she took eating chocolate very seriously. She did a great job at getting her face all dirty!
We even had bubbles make an appearance in the shoot, I really like her scrunched up nose smile! Gorgeous!
It has been a busy Easter weekend with Cake Smashes! I have said it before but it doesn't matter how many you do, children vary so much its great seeing how different they are.
Niamh standing on her cake is my favourite cake smash photo todate I think! Why hit it when you can stand in it?
She was such a happy little girl, the photos have came out amazing. Can't wait to hand over the disc to her mummy!
Sure you can all see I love a good cake smash BUT this was one of my favorites.... I love Jack Russells so was wonderful to have Tilly get involved I think she thought all her Christmases had come at once with all the cake she was allowed to eat!
I also love the personal touches to Sophia's shoot, the gorgeous canvas looked amazing. I love it so much that I am getting one made for my little man! She also looked adorable in her ladybird outfit!
Enjoy Sophia and Tilly's photos!

It was a lovely morning shoot at Harlestone Heath in Northampton. I had never photographed there before so its great to play in a new location. Lucas was a natural! He could turn his charm on it a second, making some great photographs! I really enjoy taking natural photographs of families playing together I think it creates special memories. I try to stay back as much as I can and let the shoot flow.
Luke had the honour of trying out my new blue background, I think it worked really well in the photos, especially against his red balloon!
Luke was my second face planter although first to add a lot of dribble to it! i like the photos of him lying down, towards the end he had enough of sitting and wanted to roll!
Yay, I finally got my first walker! Not only did Scarlett completely smash the cake all by herself i might add she even started to clean up the crumbs! She stood in the cake, hit the cake, sat in the cake and finally pulled the bottom casing off t the cake....job well done I think!
It is safe to say Charley enjoyed his cake smash, it was nice to have a non mover :-) He stayed put and happily smashed the cake! The balloons which his mummy brought made for a great set! Its nice when you can make the set more personalised!
Charley kept that tongue out for most of the shoot!
Here is the lovely Amaya, cake smashes have become so popular. I had done a back to back session and they never get boring, each child is so unique you never know what is going to happen!
Amaya did well she truly smashed the cake and we managed to take a different variety of photos. She is the first cake smasher to keep whacking the cake with her foot! I love the cheeky spoon shot!

Happy First birthday Jesse! I remember photographing him as newborn (Click here) so it was great to be able to photograph him as he turns one! Where does the time go?
Jesse shares his birthday with his Mummy so it was only right that she joined in for a few too. He was a star and I absolutely love the gorgeous photo of him looking away!
