Marcus and Ashlea have now seen their photographs and have kindly let me pick some to share with you all! It was so hard to pick a hand full so I decided to tell their story through the photographs. I hope you enjoy...
Ashlea arrived to the venue in style! A beautiful horse drawn carriage.
It was a gorgeous day (rainy morning, but the sun came out and so did the blue skies!!) Their wedding took place at Dodford Manor which has lots of lovely space for photography and more importantly plenty of space to park the horse! It was my first time photographing at Dodford Manor but after a quick look two days before, I knew we was going to get some great photos there! Ashlea really did look stunning in her dress from Lola Bridal.I had such a great time being part of the day, thank you!
Here are a few of the images that Marcus and Ashlea picked from their Pre-Wedding shoot. It was a gorgeous day walking around Delapre, Marcus and Ashlea were up for trying out lots new poses!
I am looking forward to photographing their wedding this coming Thursday at Dodford Manor. It should be a great day with such a fun couple, I had never photographed such an 'insync' couple one blinked then the other followed!
Had the pleasure of meeting Martyn, Julia and their beautiful daughter Layla for their Pre-wedding shoot. We tried a series of different poses, however Layla had her own ideas which included the bright yellow football! Not that it mattered, we got some great, fun photos!
Abington Park was the perfect place for the shoot giving Layla the chance to run around, giving me opportunities to create natural photos of the three of them. Here are just a few from the day. Can't wait to photograph their wedding at Hunsbury Hill Centre in September.
Martin and Louisa's ceremony took place at St Phillips & St James Church in Ratby, such a lovely service with personal touches from the vicar I hadn't seen before. After the ceremony we walked out the church to be greeted with blue skies and sunshine! The rest of the wedding took place Donington Park Farmhouse Hotel a stunning and unique wedding venue allowing plenty of space for beautiful photographs. Here is just a sneaky look to sum up their day! Enjoy
I had the pleasure of photographing Tom and Sandra's wedding day. The rain clouds behaved themselves only opening up when everyone was inside. Sandra looked beautiful in her Grecian inspired wedding dress. Sandra and Tom's wedding ceremony was held at St Mary the Virgin church in Newport, Essex, it was a lovely ceremony with a lot of personal touches added by the vicar. I also had a second photographer which created even more special moments, it's great to be able to have not only the brides preparation in the morning photographed but also the grooms morning. This also meant we got two different angles in the church and nothing was missed during the day.
The wedding reception was held at The Crown House Hotel in Great Chesterford, lovely venue with plenty of room for dancing which the guests made full use of!!! :-)
Thank you for letting us photograph your wedding, I hope you enjoy looking at the sneak peeks!
Some times its nice to search the archives and come across something for the blog. Since My first wedding of 2013 is yet to be sorted I thought I would share Lucy and Neil's wedding from July 2011. Their wedding took place at Ullesthorpe Court Hotel, it was a great day. Lucy was a fun bride making taking her photographs so easy. The weather was beautiful and the setting of the venue was gorgeous.
I have added a few photos so you can get a feel of a full days worth. I photographed this wedding whilst planning my own. The evening band made me really want a band and when I asked the bride she said the groom was in a band! Prefect!! They planned at our wedding and no one left the dance floor all night, they where amazing. If you are looking for a band I couldn't recommend 'covers of invention' enough. Check them out on facebook!
On Friday the 12th April, I had the privileged to be maid of honour. So of course this meant down camera, well until the evening anyway.
The wedding reception was held at Westone Manor Hotel in Northampton, we had typical April showers but it made no difference to the day.
I had a new shot in mind that I wanted to try and a willing bride and groom, you can see the result it is a stunning photograph. You can hardly tell that seconds before the heavens opened up.
I have added a few more photographs to have a look at.
Katie and Lee choose the beautiful Crockwell Farm for their November wedding. The weather wasn't looking to great for them as it constantly rained all morning. Not that this stopped Katie from looking forward to her big day. We started with the bridal prep, I even managed to get a few of Lee as he was also getting ready in one of the rooms.
The ceremony was gorgeous as they had both had individual vowels, which I must admit brought a tear to my eye!
Katie and Lee had spent so much time and effort choosing all the details for their wedding, it was a pleasure to photograph. The rain stopped just after the ceremony giving us prefect opportunity to jump in the car and take some gorgeous couple portraits on the lane, followed by some around the grounds.
After the meal they did a wedding scratch card game revealing one winner on each table to run up and grab a prize from the top table. I had never seen this before and it was such a fun idea! Then the party got under way as they had hired a band which got people up and dancing.
Here are just some of the images from Katie and Lee's wedding. Enjoy!
