Lovely little Bryony was very sleepy for her photoshoot, don't be fooled by the awake photos! She was snoozing her way through it, we managed to get some lovely photos and a beautiful outdoor family shot.
Meet Issobelle and Elizabeth, beautiful sisters! I had a laugh photographing these two, Issobelle was telling a lot of jokes (although I am thinking stand up isn't her thing, after hearing some rather questionable jokes!)
We managed to create some great photos of them together, I let Issobelle decide on a lot of the images, I always think if you involved the child you end up getting the best results, there is no point forcing photos!
I can't wait for part too.....watch this space
I love photographing newborn babies it is one of the best things about my work, seeing the love in the parents eyes when they think I am not snapping is amazing. However photographing Lucas was even more special then normal. To say he didn't have the easiest start to life wouldn't be doing him justice, he is both strong and beautiful like both his parents. It was an honour to photograph him and I am looking forward to many more photo-shoots!
You might remember his Mummy and Daddy, I was lucky enough to photograph their wedding and also do a gorgeous pregnancy shoot with Katie.
I had a great time photographing the twins! I got to have lots of sleepy cuddles with Sofie. Samuel is my far the happiest baby I have photographed in the hammock, smiling away. Daddy wanted to some creative shots, which I think worked so well with their big window of light! Its great doing some thing different and bespoke to the couple.
Meet William, the first sleepy baby really I have photographed! normally when I arrive babies wake up!
It was great fun practicing new shoots for my portfolio! I love the hammocks, these are made by my Mum and Grandma (who is 86) I think the photos are lovely and I can't wait to try out more wraps and fabrics with some more gorgeous babies!
It was lovely to photograph Amelie, as I knew Hannah from my uni days I got to take my little man along for the shoot. He makes a great assistant....playing happily with Amelie's dolls ;-)
Amelie was a lovely little lady she had some big smiles for the camera and had many outfit changes! I love the black and white laughing family shot! I can't wait to show them the rest!
I absolutely love this photo of little Georgie still with her umbilical cord attached. The plan was to take some lovely sleepy baby photos and then do some gorgeous ones looking at the camera....turns out Georgie had her own ideas and she wanted to stay awake for the WHOLE shoot! Not that it mattered we managed to get these gorgeous images.
Meet Isaac and Max, just 10 days old! I loved using all my new props for their shoot and wrapping Max-who was the prefect sleeping baby model! I am sure from the photos you can tell which one is Max! Isaac on the other hand was far too nosey and stayed awake the whole time :-) The photos of them together in the pods just makes me smile! Such gorgeous little twins, its great to see how different their personalities are even at such a young age.
I am looking forward to expanding this side of my photography through out this year! Watch this space :-)
