It has taken me ages to narrow down this sneaky peak! I love the images, and I don't like to show all my favorites as I like to keep some as a surprise for the family! We waited a long time to do this shoot, having to change the date a few times due to rubbish weather so it was great to finally do them in the sunshine! Iola had a great time running around and exploring the flowers, I love how smiley she was for the camera
Lovely little Bryony was very sleepy for her photoshoot, don't be fooled by the awake photos! She was snoozing her way through it, we managed to get some lovely photos and a beautiful outdoor family shot.
Meet Issobelle and Elizabeth, beautiful sisters! I had a laugh photographing these two, Issobelle was telling a lot of jokes (although I am thinking stand up isn't her thing, after hearing some rather questionable jokes!)
We managed to create some great photos of them together, I let Issobelle decide on a lot of the images, I always think if you involved the child you end up getting the best results, there is no point forcing photos!
I can't wait for part too.....watch this space
After a lot of cake smashing it was nice to go out side and take some natural photographs. Daddy didn't know Mummy had booked this so it was a lovely surprise for him. I really enjoy taking natural photographs of children playing outside, its a perfect excuse to run around and play.... I mean work ;-)
I love photographing newborn babies it is one of the best things about my work, seeing the love in the parents eyes when they think I am not snapping is amazing. However photographing Lucas was even more special then normal. To say he didn't have the easiest start to life wouldn't be doing him justice, he is both strong and beautiful like both his parents. It was an honour to photograph him and I am looking forward to many more photo-shoots!
You might remember his Mummy and Daddy, I was lucky enough to photograph their wedding and also do a gorgeous pregnancy shoot with Katie.
It was lovely to photograph Amelie, as I knew Hannah from my uni days I got to take my little man along for the shoot. He makes a great assistant....playing happily with Amelie's dolls ;-)
Amelie was a lovely little lady she had some big smiles for the camera and had many outfit changes! I love the black and white laughing family shot! I can't wait to show them the rest!
Meet the Spencer family! Three gorgeous girls, had a great day photographing them. I do love my work going into a family home and capturing these special moments is brilliant. The children happily played while i snapped away, creating some of these magical moments.
I love the mum breastfeeding photo I think its timeless. I cant wait to photograph them all again in September for Poppys christening.
We was so lucky with this outdoor family shoot at Delapre Abbey in Northampton, the day before was miserable and rainy we decided we would go ahead as planned, wellies pack! However on the morning of the shoot the sky was a gorgeous blue, chilly though but no rain in sight!
James had a lovely time playing with Pepper the dog, who was very well behaved and even posed in the family group shots!
I can't wait to see which ones Leah has picked for her final disc.
Meet Bethany and her newborn sister Jessica. These photographs again shot at their house made for a lovely morning. Jessica decided she wanted to be awake for the shoot, we waiting for her to sleep but she wasn't missing out on all the fun!
Whilst Jessica had her milk I got to set the props up with Bethany and her dolls! I also got a sticker and got to meet all her barbies! I do love photographing families in their own space, I think it makes everyone more relaxed. I don't really set a time limit also on my photoshoots which means there was no rushing while Jessica nursed. We managed to get some lovely photos of Jessica and Bethany.
