Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Sawyer!
While they are enjoying the sun on their honeymoon to Florida I thought I would share this photograph taken after the ceremony. It sums up the day with their big smiles, we didn't let a little rain or wind ruin anything.
More photos to come later in the week with the full blog post for now enjoy...
Its always nice to be asked to photograph different events, kids parties tend to be very fun. Kids are themselves running around playing games. It can be tiring just watching them dance! I had a great time photographing Mia's 10th birthday party. Her dad is just setting up being able to provide music for different events. So it goes with out saying that Mia had the best music and light display going!
If anyone needs any music for weddings, parties or any other events I would happily pass on his details. I wasn't sure who enjoyed it more me or the kids!!!
Enjoy the photos.
Some times its nice to search the archives and come across something for the blog. Since My first wedding of 2013 is yet to be sorted I thought I would share Lucy and Neil's wedding from July 2011. Their wedding took place at Ullesthorpe Court Hotel, it was a great day. Lucy was a fun bride making taking her photographs so easy. The weather was beautiful and the setting of the venue was gorgeous.
I have added a few photos so you can get a feel of a full days worth. I photographed this wedding whilst planning my own. The evening band made me really want a band and when I asked the bride she said the groom was in a band! Prefect!! They planned at our wedding and no one left the dance floor all night, they where amazing. If you are looking for a band I couldn't recommend 'covers of invention' enough. Check them out on facebook!
Here are a few photos from a recent shoot. We split the photoshoot over two Sunday Morning sessions, at baby Jesse home. I love natural photographs of a family, letting them interact with one another with out being too posed. I think this creates a moment which can be kept forever. The love captured between this little family is clear to see in the images.
On Friday the 12th April, I had the privileged to be maid of honour. So of course this meant down camera, well until the evening anyway.
The wedding reception was held at Westone Manor Hotel in Northampton, we had typical April showers but it made no difference to the day.
I had a new shot in mind that I wanted to try and a willing bride and groom, you can see the result it is a stunning photograph. You can hardly tell that seconds before the heavens opened up.
I have added a few more photographs to have a look at.
Its always nice when a couple take up the Pre-Wedding shoot, espcially when they want to do it at their chosen wedding venue. Martin and Louisa have picked Donington Park Farmhouse Hotel to hold their wedding reception, what a great venue! It offers so many opportunities to take some great photos, below is just a small example.
It was a great couple of hours getting to know the happy couple and also to get the chance to meet Lyndsay and Jon, the maid of honour and best man.
I can't wait to go back and photograph their wedding day in June!
Hope everyone is enjoying the new website! I have been a very busy bee building it and having a great time looking back through old shoots. Sorry nothing new has been posted in a while, I am on the case.
Very exciting time for me here, lots of wedding and beautiful new born baby shoots coming up.
Can't wait to post more photographs of this months shoots! Watch out it will be a jam packed one, starting with a Pre-Wedding photo shoot this coming Sunday for a couple getting married in June. I love doing Pre-Wedding shoots especially at the venue they have chosen to hold their special day. Its a great time to wonder around, chatting with the couple and photographing them to put their mind at ease about the photography on the day. Not everyone takes up the Pre-Wedding shoot but I find it can really help the couple relax.
